# Why did Hummingbird reject my file import? Why did my file fail to import?

Hummingbird offers a few ways to import your data:

* Through direct import in the Hummingbird platform
* Through our APIs

You may run into errors while importing data into Hummingbird. Hummingbird is usually able to show specific validation errors so you’ll know what changes to make easily. If you have any questions, please reach out to the Hummingbird team at <support@hummingbird.co>.
