# Reporting Credit Card Numbers on SAR Forms Our policy is to only report credit card numbers to FinCEN when we have the full, unmasked number. That field will be left blank when we file a SAR on your behalf if we receive a masked card number or no card number. If you would like to send FinCEN *some* credit card detail we suggest that you provide the masked PAN in the narrative so that a request for follow-up information can be met quickly.
